Fostering Youth Entrepreneur Soul’s in Indonesia Towards Cheerful prescription, Isn’t It?
Zero point one eight percent (0.18%) is the entrepreneur percentages rate in Indonesia and only one quarter or zero point zero four five are from youth generation (BPS 2010).After read that statement ,the question that might visible on your mind is why this ironic incident could be happen? Are you satisfied with this amount? Is there something wrong the system? Come back to real society, when we ask ten of our friends about what the preferences if you graduated from university ‘’ six to ten absolutely reply they desire to get job at multinational company and only 2 until 3 who answer I want to be real entrepreneur. What happens, why they prefer to work? Whereas to be an entrepreneur we can manage other people and life without reprimand from our boss. This kinds question will be answered on this essay and we also try to identify the best approach to boost and teach entrepreneurship to young generation as part of entrepreneurial development in the right recipe.
The First enigma that we would like to observe are why youth prefer became employee to entrepreneur? Come back again to reality, the oddity which still occurs in the society especially in java if they have suitor who work in government sector or as bureaucrat, it can make they more proud than got suitor who not work as civil servants. Another reason is Indonesian person is tend to save taker than risk taker; it reflected when government sector has open job vacancy, absolutely or one hundred percent more than 2-5 million people apply on this job.
The second enigma, Is there something wrong the system? Recently our educational system does not do justice to the field of entrepreneurship. Business studies in high school even in university are often delegated to those who aren’t considered smart enough to pursue traditional science subjects. Many school curriculums focus on rote learning to secure exam passes, but entrepreneurial stimulation requires the encouragement of innovative ideas and thinking outside the box.For the small percentage of graduates who genuinely aspire to own their own businesses, there is no structured educational outlet where they can learn the tools and techniques to successfully operate an enterprise. Some people believe that running a business just takes a little common sense, and that with a few short courses in business planning and marketing, the new entrepreneur should be ‘good-to-go’.Financing for start-up ventures is always a challenge, and obtaining funding is even harder for young people. With the high failure rate for new businesses, it is understandable why many financial institutions are reluctant to lend to inexperienced entrepreneurs without a track record of success. This is understanding the main causes, as many businesses actually collapse because of a lack of sufficient working capital.
Therefore, we already know the causes why entrepreneur rate is too which became entrepreneur is going to fun and can help another person to get a job. Then, how we encourage especially to youth generation became real entrepreneur?
Build upon causes an entrepreneurial stimulation requires the encouragement of innovative ideas and thinking outside the box. We need fundamentals teaching in entrepreneur suppose to be a lot fun and smile, how it does works? Basically without great idea to establish business we can not to be a good entrepreneur. Through cheerful prescription our mind will easy to thinking the nice idea because on that situation our brains release hormone like dopamine that give relax feel and the affect our brains can think easily. I was inspiring when I saw the Google office where the design is comfortable and the result is the employee who works in Google got only little inconvenience and they can work in the creative way.
We can arrange another fun recipe towards create youth entrepreneur community or competition or challenges. Through this community as young generation, it can be help them to get networking, because we can not be success entrepreneur without networking like your network is your net worth (MEKAR mission statement).If we are serious about nurturing our youth towards entrepreneur teaching, we have to start implementing relevant programmes within the school system. Vocational guidance to identify entrepreneurial potential must be provided and make all subject material relevant to real-world earning opportunities. Mentoring is a vital tool to teach youngsters how to navigate the tricky waters of business, and established entrepreneurs can provide this support in association with another young generation.Along with mentoring, I encourage progressive business owners to consider providing venture capital support to young persons with solid business ideas. This financial assistance and managerial support will help to ensure a higher success rate among youth entrepreneurs.The government should also look at establishing business incubators for young entrepreneurs where they can receive individual guidance, continuous business training, support facilities and tax incentives.
